Get Street Law at Your School
Each year, MJF places law student volunteers into local classrooms to teach middle school and high school students about their legal rights, responsibilities, and resources. MJF accepts requests from local teachers for Street Law volunteers from August 1st-31st for fall semester, and from October 1st-November 15th for spring semester. Timeline for MJF’s Street Law Program:
- Fall Semester: A limited number of volunteers are available on a first-come-first-served basis. To be part of the fall program, contact MJF as soon as possible in August or early September. The program then runs from late September through early November.
- Spring Semester: The majority of the law student volunteers are part of the Spring Semester. To be a part of the Spring Program, contact MJF (or complete the below request). Applications are taken anytime between August and November.
- To Apply for the Program: There are several ways to be included in the program. You may print the application from the link below and return it by fax to 651-290-6407. You may also complete it electronically and forward the completed application to us. Alternatively, to complete an electronic survey, please contact us for a link to the survey.
